The MS in Human Nutrition program is partnered with dietetic internship programs to provide interns an opportunity to earn graduate credit while enrolled in the dietetic internship. The program is creatively designed to provide foundation knowledge prior to rotations and coordinate coursework with internship requirements.

Aramark Dietetic Internship |
Aramark Dietetic Internship integrates service to others into a variety of learning experiences throughout the clinical, management, and community rotations. Each rotation allows interns to build on knowledge and grow as a dietetic professional as they complete their 1000 hours of supervised practice. The 32-week program allows interns to develop an evidence-based clinical practice, implement innovative retail programs during management, and counsel diverse groups during the community rotation. Interns can select from our ever growing list of pre-selected rotation sites across the nation to call their internship home. At Aramark, our goal is to develop and hire our dietetic interns who are focused on serving others throughout their career.

Catherine Austin Dietetic Internship
The Catherine Austin Dietetic Internship at the Memphis VA (Memphis VA Medical Center - Dietetic Internship Program (https://www.dieteticinternship.va.gov/Memphis/index.asp) ) is a VA sponsored, 40-45 week dietetic internship providing 1340 supervised practice hours with a strong background in clinical nutrition with a concentration in ambulatory care. Dietetic Interns are given hands on experience with skills such as motivational interviewing, nutrition focused physical exams, and the nutrition care process in a variety of settings. Interns begin in Mid-September and graduate in Mid-July and receive a stipend to help cover living expenses. Please visit a virtual open house

Garden to Table Nutrition Dietetic Internship
Garden to Table Nutrition trains aspiring dietitians to understand the whole food cycle from farm-to-table, including foraging, planting, harvesting, preserving, and cooking local and wildcrafted foods. We created a flexible program that allows full- and part-time interns to find their own locations to complete 1,000 hours of supervised practice. Additionally, those who have strong relevant experience can apply for credit for prior learning to reduce their supervised practice hours.

Keith & Associates Distance Dietetic Internship
Keith & Associates Distance Dietetic Internship (KADDI) is a post-baccalaureate supervised practice experience designed to allow qualified individuals to become registry-eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. KADDI is a dietetic internship fully accredited by ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition & Dietetics) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed by The Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools. A distance internship allows interns to custom-design their own program in their current demographic location. Our internship program follows the same requirements as other dietetic internship programs. KADDI has an excellent curriculum and processes in place for our interns & preceptors.

NutraSourceDI is a distance dietetic internship program inviting all eligible dietetic students nationwide to apply. We offer a Full-Time (9 month) track, accepting up to 40 qualified interns. You will have the convenience and flexibility to complete your internship in your local area. We offer our interns three concentration areas to choose from: Long Term Care; Medical Nutrition Therapy; and Wellness Promotion. If you live in the geographical area of a facility where our parent company, NutraSourceRD, oversees the clinical nutrition department (NJ, NY, PA, CT, MD, OH and FL), we can assist you with securing preceptors for Long Term Care-Clinical and Food Service-Healthcare. As part of the application process, you will need to secure these two preceptors along with an Acute Care-Clinical preceptor.

VA ST. LOUIS HEALTH CARE SYSTEM is a VA-sponsored 42.5-week program with a concentration in “Health Promotion to Chronic Disease Management" The well-rounded program provides a minimum of 1200 hours of supervised practice with hands-on experiences in Clinical Nutrition, Administrative Management of Food Service and community advocacy. All rotations are arranged by the internship allowing interns to focus on learning. Our highly experienced preceptors provide interns with stimulating opportunities for developing counseling and teaching skills, completing nutrition focused physical exams, participating in wound and medical rounds and supervising food service staff. The program begins in mid-August and concludes at the end of May. Interns received a generous stipend paid bi-weekly throughout the program.
