    Diet Technician, Registered (DTR)

    Effective March 1, 2016, the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) implemented a new system for processing applications for the Dietetic Technician Registration Examination (DTRE).  This system is referred to as REPS (Registrations Eligibility Processing System).

    Students should go to the CDR website to obtain additional information and complete the required documents necessary to process the DTRE application. Students should view the following on the CDR website:

    3. REPS Frequently Asked Questions

    DTR Eligibility Requirements:
    1. Must have earned a bachelors' degree.
    2. Must have earned a Verification Statement from an ACEND accredited DPD program.

    DTR Application Process and Requirements:
    Eligible students interested in applying to complete the DTRE must complete and submit the following to the DPD Program Director to begin the processing:

    1. Official Transcript (Student must request an official transcript)
    2. DTRE - Registration Eligibility Application Notification Form
